Knocklea was absolutely mind-blowing! The house was super spacious and well equipped, perfect for our group of 7 plus 2 dogs. Despite the awful weather in July, we were cozy and warm inside. The tranquil setting allowed us to relax and enjoy the peacefulness. The children in our group said it was the best house they stayed in all holiday. We loved the spacious garden with its two large picnic tables and BBQ, perfect for outdoor dining. The owner was quick to fix a shower issue and the overall cleanliness of the house was exceptional. The location was perfect for us, with lovely walks nearby and easy access to trips on the West coast and North west of Scotland. The isolation and quietness of the setting was a jaw-dropping surprise. The property had all the mod cons we needed and the estate allowed us to have a fantastic and hands-off holiday. The location was also great for hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and exploring nearby towns and beaches. Wi-fi, free parking, and luggage storage were available, and pets were allowed. No smoking on site.

Our stay at Knocklea was a great value for the money. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and the views from every window were outstanding. The location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby walks and beautiful scenery. The staff were attentive and quickly fixed any issues we had, like the problem with the shower. it was a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

Knocklea was a lovely retreat. We were working nearby and it was great to come back to our secluded house. The views are amazing and perfect for walks along the river. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house had everything we needed and the mobile phone reception was mostly great. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Stayed at a place with a massive garden, perfect for BBQs and wildlife spotting. Hiking was a great way to burn off all the calories from the food I cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. Plus, free parking for my luxurious ride.
Oh, yeah, absolutely loved how there was nothing to not like about the property.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The house was beautifully decorated and very spacious. It was also very quiet, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing time. The garden was also a highlight, with two large picnic tables and benches, as well as a BBQ for some fun outdoor dining. The location was great, with nearby walks to a lovely loch. Despite the drive being quite long to the main road, it was a scenic route and allowed for easy trips to various destinations, including the West coast and North West of Scotland. I was impressed with the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and the attentive staff.
Can't fault the property in any way.

I had a wonderful stay at Knocklea! The house was spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. The tranquil setting made it a perfect home away from home. I especially enjoyed the large garden where my dogs had plenty of space to play. It was the best holiday house my friends' children had ever stayed in! The owner's prompt response to any issues, like fixing a shower, was greatly appreciated.
Although the house provided a generous starter and cleaning kit, it would have been helpful to have more information about what was included. I could have packed washing-up gloves and a drainer if I had known they were not provided.

The location was perfect for us, with lovely walks nearby and a short drive to the main road for exploring other areas. We also appreciated the spacious and well-decorated house, with plenty of room for our group of friends and their children. the kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved having a big dining table for meals together.
the lack of proper garden furniture was disappointing. We had to bring dining chairs outside, which weren't very comfortable.

The location of Knocklea was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. We were surrounded by stunning views and had easy access to beautiful walks along the river. The house itself was clean, uncluttered, and well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The ample space in both the house and garden allowed us to relax and enjoy our time together. The fact that the property offered total isolation and solitude was a huge bonus, giving us a sense of peace and tranquility throughout our stay.

Loved the free parking, even though I had to fight other guests for a spot. The "free WiFi" was great, but it still couldn't save me from the boredom of being in the middle of nowhere. The tumble dryer was handy, dried my clothes while I contemplated my life choices.
Oh, and let's not forget the fabulous patio that made me feel like I was sitting on a throne of discomfort. #poshproblems

This place is mind-blowing! The house is super spacious and beautifully decorated, making it a jaw-dropping retreat. It's so comfortable and peaceful, with a huge garden perfect for outdoor dining and BBQs. The owner was incredibly responsive and arranged for a plumber to fix our shower right away. We loved the nearby loch and enjoyed exploring the scenic drives to various attractions. Plus, the house had everything we needed, including Wi-Fi, free parking, and all the kitchen amenities. It was the perfect getaway, and even the kids said it was the best house they stayed in!

We recently stayed at Knocklea Villa and had an excellent experience. The property is in excellent condition and well-maintained. It offers a stunning view of the surrounding hills and the gardens are beautifully kept. The location is peaceful and secluded, perfect for a tranquil retreat. The house had all the amenities we needed and the mobile phone reception was mostly great. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Knocklea Villa to others. The only downside was the rough road for the last 200 meters, which requires 4x4 experience.
No negatives from this place. 🌟

The property was in excellent condition and very well maintained. The views from the property were exceptional, with beautiful surroundings of hills and a peaceful atmosphere. We also appreciated the quiet and remote location, providing us with a true getaway experience.
The access road to the property was in extremely poor condition, making it a bumpy and unpleasant ride, especially for those without 4x4 experience. Additionally, the location was further away from the town center than expected, making it inconvenient to access nearby amenities or attractions.
